NHS Western Isles is committed to involving the population of the Western Isles in meaningful discussion on the future shape of NHS services in the area. NHS Scotland are continuing to build the basis for a mutual NHS through the Patients Rights Act (Scotland) 2011.

We want patients, service users, carers, staff, voluntary groups, support groups and other stakeholders to develop NHS Western Isles services with us. This includes seeking comments and feedback on a variety of initiatives, proposals and service changes.

The Patient Opinion website www.patientopinion.org.uk helps us gather real-time feedback.

Whether you are a patient, service user, carer or family member your stories are passed on to the right person at NHS Western Isles so that we can learn from it and make changes.
