Choices & Decisions Game

NHS Western Isles has been working with Mairi MacDonald from South Uist to develop a new sexual health training resource entitled 'Choices & Decisions', a board game that has been designed to help equip and inform young people aged between 14-18 on sexual health issues.

The game looks to improve their decision making skills, increase their knowledge and confidence so that they can take responsibility for their own actions and lives. The emphasis is on HIV, AIDS, sexual health and relationships, looking specifically at areas of risk taking and decision making.

The game is interactive and youth friendly and it aims to generate and provoke discussions and debates on life choice and decisions which young people may face in their lives.

For further information please contact Isabel Steele, tel. 01870 603156.
