Acute Assessment Unit to reopen in its original location on Friday

The Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) at Western Isles Hospital will return to its original location opposite reception at 8am on Friday (June 6).

The AAU had temporarily relocated to the Day Surgery while the Emergency Department was refurbished.

We would also take this opportunity to remind the community that the Emergency Department is back open for service in its original location.

We would like to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation while the refurbishment works were underway.
