Drop-in vaccination clinics this week in the Western Isles

Drop-in vaccination clinics will be held this week, for anyone currently eligible for vaccination.
Those currently eligible are:
- anyone aged 16 or over;
- anyone aged 12-15 ‘at risk’ or who is a household contact of someone who is immunosuppressed;
- anyone due their 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine (8 weeks after 1st dose).
Those aged 12-15 ‘at risk’ include children and young people with:
- severe neuro-disabilities
- Down's syndrome
- underlying conditions resulting in immunosuppression
- a diagnosis of learning/intellectual disability
Drop-in clinics are as follows: - Tuesday 17th August – Harris Hub: 5pm – 7.30pm
- Friday 20th August – Western Isles Hospital: 2pm – 4.30pm
- Saturday 21st August – Western Isles Hospital: 12.30pm – 7pm
- Saturday 21st August – Uist and Barra Hospital: 3pm – 5pm
- Saturday 21st August – St Brendan’s Hospital: 10.30am – 11.30am
