Over 80s call for COVID-vaccine

Over 80s across the Western Isles who have not yet received their COVID vaccine are asked to contact the local appointment line to arrange an appointment as soon as possible.

NHS Western Isles is well underway with our vaccination of the over-80s priority group, and vaccination clinics continue this week. We would urge those aged over 80 who have not yet attended an appointment to arrange a vaccination appointment by calling 0808 196 8383. Alternatively a friend of relative can arrange an appointment on your behalf. 

Those aged over-80 who are housebound will be contacted to be offered appointments shortly.

If you have been provided with an appointment and are unable to attend or would like to rearrange your appointment, we would appeal to you to let us know as soon as possible so that your appointment can be offered to someone else, and so we can reduce the risk of vaccine wastage. To do this please tel. 0808 196 8383.
