Returning to registered professional practice to help with patient care
Published on 20 March 2020
If you left the professional register within the last three years as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, paramedic, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, diagnostic or therapeutic radiographer, biomedical scientist or as a medical practitioner you should soon be receiving a letter from your previous professional regulator that explains you have been placed on a temporary register and can now participate in helping with the care of patients during the present emergency.
If you are a practitioner and are fully registered but not currently working in NHS Scotland you can participate too.
You will be paid and will be part of a supervised team.
