The aim of the Community Mental Health Team is to support people in the community.
The Community Mental Health Team is made up of a range of trained staff who offer mental health assessments, treatment and care, and includes the following services:
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Service
- Community Nursing Service for People and Carers with Learning Disability
- Community Mental Health Nursing Service
- Consultant Psychiatrists
- Counselling Service
- GP-led Community Mental Health Clinics
- Mental Health Occupational Therapy
- Substance Misuse service
In emergencies
The Community Mental Health Nursing Service operate a 365 day/24 hour service which
can be accessed via NHS24 between the hours of 5pm and 9am.
