The service is aimed at those with an identified learning disability. An identified learning disability means a significant, lifelong condition (that started before adulthood) which affects the way a person understands information and how they communicate.
Our team have a wide range of skills and a depth of knowledge and experience that enables us to help people with identified learning disabilities to:
- understand information
- learn skills
- cope independently.
Referral
Referrals to the service can be made directly by the individual or their family/carer, or by a GP or Psychiatrist. Referral forms can be obtained by contacting:
