Mental Health and Learning Disability Services: Community Mental Health Team

The aim of the Community Mental Health Team is to support people in the community.

The Community Mental Health Team is made up of a range of trained staff who offer mental health assessments, treatment and care, and includes the following services:

  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Service
  • Community Nursing Service for People and Carers with Learning Disability
  • Community Mental Health Nursing Service
  • Consultant Psychiatrists
  • Counselling Service
  • GP-led Community Mental Health Clinics
  • Mental Health Occupational Therapy
  • Substance Misuse service

The Community Mental Health Nursing Service operate a 365 day/24 hour service which
can be accessed via NHS24 between the hours of 5pm and 9am.
