Risk Management Strategy 2024

As a separate legal entity (as defined in the arrangements of Public Bodies (Joint Working)
(Scotland) Act 2014), the Integration Joint Board (IJB) is required to have an approved Risk
Management Strategy which ensures processes are in place to identify Strategic Risks faced
by the IJB.

The strategy has been produced with reference to the Corporate Risk Management Strategies
of NHS Western Isles and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar alongside benchmarked good practice.
The aim of the strategy is to ensure that there is a robust and effective framework in place to
manage strategic risks.

You can access the strategy here.

IJB Strategic Framework Consultation / Survey

The Strategic Framework sets out the future ambition and outcomes the IJB is seeking to achieve over the next 3 years through the Health & Social Care Partnership.

The Health and Social Care Partnership is drafting a new Strategic Framework and wants to hear your ideas for improving health and social care services in the Western Isles.

We welcome your input and would like to capture your views and ideas on what would improve health and social care services.

You can access the survey here. The easy-read version is available here.
