Neurological Standards Open Call for Participation – GET INVOLVED and attend the focus group most appropriate to you

NHS Western Isles wishes to hear from patients and carers from across a broad spectrum of neurological conditions to input to NHS Western Isles' response to the national Neurological Standards.

NHS Western Isles will be hosting two Focus Groups, one in-person event will be held in Stornoway and a second online event to ensure that patients with a neurological condition from across the Western Isles have the opportunity to participate. Access details for the events will be confirmed to participants upon registration.

A variety of topics will be discussed including:
• Diagnosis,
• Individual assessment of need,
• Outcomes and goals

Space for these events are limited, please register your interest in joining by emailing denise.symington@nhs.scot indicating which focus group you wish to attend.

We anticipate a high volume of interest for these events and wish to ensure that we have a broad representation from across a wide group of neurological conditions for example (but not restricted to):
• Epilepsy
• Headache
• Multiple sclerosis
• Parkinsons etc

We would also ask that when registering to attend, you provide information on what neurological condition you have lived experience of.
