Alcohol and Drugs

Heading 2

The Outer Hebrides Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) is responsible for the allocation of Scottish Government funding to support the delivery of locally based alcohol and drug services in line with local and national priorities and identified needs.

It's vision is that:

“The Outer Hebrides is a respectful healthy community where individuals, families and communities have the right to health and life free from the harms of alcohol and drugs, where recovery is fully supported by all within the community.”

Members are drawn from a wide range of agencies and groups and include representatives from NHS Western Isles; Police Scotland; Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; Integrated Joint Board; third sector and lay members.

The cross-cutting priorities between national government, ADPs and third sector partners work towards reducing drug harms and deaths and improving the lives of those impacted by drugs and alcohol in Scotland.
