The Childsmile programme in Scotland is reducing Oral Health inequalities and helping to improve Scotland's oral health among children. NHS Western Isles is fully committed to supporting the Childsmile Programme.

At this current time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the local Childsmile programme has not yet resumed, due to pressures on other parts of the dental service. However, as routine care returns to normal, Childsmile visits will return to schools.
