A total of 19 individuals in South Uist have tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19 infection, as of this morning.
Test and Protect actions are ongoing. The individuals are from the southern end of the Uists.

Four additional individuals have been confirmed as positive for the virus that causes COVID-19 infection.
This brings the total number of people identified as having the virus in the Uists to seven.
