Osapadal Uibhist agus Bharraigh is back to normal working arrangements today following an outbreak of COVID-19. 

The restricted visiting arrangements in place have now been lifted and are as outlined on the NHS Western Isles website: visiting hours are 2pm – 8pm and each patient can have two visitors at a time. Visiting slots no longer have to be pre-booked.  

All visitors to the hospital are reminded to hand sanitise on entry to the hospital and again when entering/leaving a clinical area and to wear a surgical mask (provided) for the duration of the visit (unless unable to do so for medical reasons). We would ask individuals not to visit if they feel unwell or have COVID symptoms. 

Thanks to all staff for their excellent response to contain and prevent further spread, and for ensuring that necessary staffing was in place to manage the temporary arrangements.
