NHS Western Isles provides a comprehensive range of mental health services for people living in the Western Isles. These are:
- Inpatient facilities (Western Isles Hospital)
- Community Mental Health Team
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Service
- Community Learning Disability Nursing (CLDN) Service
- Community Mental Health Nursing Service
- Consultant Psychiatrists (Outpatient Clinics)
- GP-led Community Mental Health Clinics
- Mental Health Occupational Therapy
- Substance Misuse service
- Dementia Services
Within the Community Mental Health Team, a number of staff are also trained in the following:
- Brief Solution Focused Therapy
- Behavioural Activation
