Normal Visiting resumes at Ospadal Uibhist agus Bharraigh

Normal visiting arrangements have resumed at Ospadal Uibhist agus Bharraigh (Uist and Barra Hospital) following a small number of cases of COVID-19. 

NHS Western Isles would like to remind members of the public not to visit hospitals or care homes if they feel unwell with respiratory symptoms to help reduce the risk of infection spreading to vulnerable patients, residents and staff. Respiratory symptoms include a cough, sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, a sore throat, shortness of breath or wheezing, a high temperature (fever), and general fatigue or muscle aches.
