Donations of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

NHS Western Isles has been inundated with generous offers of personal protective equipment (PPE), and we are extremely grateful to local businesses and individuals for their continued support and kindness. To ensure all donations of PPE (Including hand sanitizers) are managed appropriately, people are being asked to email Chris Anne Campbell, Resilience, NHS Western Isles, at chrisanne.campbell1@nhs.net first so that checks can be carried out to make sure all products are safe for use in a health and care setting. Chris Anne said: “We have been overwhelmed by the offers of support we have received from the public, local businesses and organisations. On behalf of NHS Western Isles, I would like to thank everyone for their generosity. If anyone would like to donate any additional PPE equipment or products, ideally we would appreciate it if they could email chrisanne.campbell1@nhs.net “Donating in this way will allow us to carry out quality assurance testing and means we can distribute the equipment fairly and to where it is needed most.”
