Heading 2
If you, your child, or someone you care for is having difficulties with communication or swallowing, then you might find it helpful to contact us.
Anyone can contact Speech and Language Therapy directly to request help. You can do it yourself or you can ask someone else to do it for you. If you are asking for help about someone else, you must ask the person for permission to refer to us on their behalf and only contact us if they are happy for you to do so.
Sometimes a health, education or social care professional may request help on your behalf, e.g. a GP, nurse, teacher, or social worker. They will discuss the reason for getting in touch with you and check that you are happy for them to do this.
