‘Good luck’ to local staff nominated at Scottish Health Awards!

NHS Western Isles is thrilled to report that it now has two finalists at this year’s Scottish Health Awards.

In addition to the local Hospital at Home team who were announced as a contender for the Virtual Ward Team, Shuna Mighton, Radiographer/ Fracture Liaison Service Practitioner, has also recently been announced as a finalist for the Allied Health Professional Award, via the Awards’ own judging panel.

The Scottish Health Awards themselves are the most prestigious and recognised awards for those working across NHS Scotland and its partners to deliver high quality health and social care services to the people of Scotland – and for two local nominations to be announced as finalists against their larger mainland colleague teams and counterparts, is a massive accomplishment.

All winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 4th November, where finalists will receive a certificate and winners will be presented with their certificate and trophy.

NHS Western Isles would like to wish Shuna and the Hospital at Home team the very best of luck!
